HAPPY ANNIVERSARY & CONGRATULATIONS!

I can't believe how time flies! Yes, it's been a year since this blog was started. Except for this month -- I've been really busy with other obligations -- I've mostly kept it updated daily! Yebah! So in a way, I'd like to congratulate myself for that. Tee hee hee... I've managed to achieve my 365-day blog challenge.

It's also a good time to look back at Diego Loyzaga's year. Well, he and Liza Soberano are the main reasons why this blog was started in the first place. DiegoLiza / JayNes / DLizters ... whatever we happened to call them... how I wished they could be reunited on a project. #wishfulthinking

Then, there came the cameo role as Joshua on 'The BreakUp Playlist.' Incidentally, it was my first time ever to meet Diegs in person... during the mall show promotion of TBUP at the Lucky Chinatown Mall. >.<

He also went on to star as David Powers on the remake of 'Pangako Sa 'Yo.' Wow! A teleserye again after the first one as Jay. Ain't that cool? 

Diegs also starred on two MMK episodes within the year. I'll feature the most recent one on a separate post. It was a blessed year for Diegs as he was MYX VJ at the start of the year,  had a billboard for Bench, appeared on a Sprite TVC, had two guestings on KDOND. He's also seen on ASAP more often than before. My two wishes for Diegs... his own recording album... and a main lead role on a teleserye. #dreamcometrue I hope both will be made possible as another year starts anew. >.<

Although I've only seen Diegs five times over the course of the year, each time was such a great time, so you could say I still can't get enough of this young man. He he he... >.< I hope I can join up with the Digsters more often next time around. 

Since I've accomplished my 365-day blogging goal, it's time to take a bit of a rest and continue with updates only once a week at the very least. I will surely keep posting more about Diego and Liza when there are new updates on them. Until next time folks...

Diego Loyzaga on KDOND Barangay Edition

Thank you, Gin (@Gin_dtj), for the above screencaps! Yey! It was truly refreshing to watch Diego Loyzaga once again on KDOND -- Barangay Edition this time. Been missing him on TV since the PSY remake bid good-bye to primetime. >.<

I can't wait for his next project! Hope it's coming out really soon! >.<

Meeting Diego Loyzaga the Second Time ^_^

Wow! I can't believe how fast time flew by. It's been almost a month since I met Diego Loyzaga the second time. That was last 23rd September, during the taping for KDOND with his mom, Teresa Loyzaga. I've shared the bts photos previously. 

It was past nine when the taping ended, I think. Anyway, since the marshals within the studio were pretty strict, we had but a brief encounter with Diego. That was when he approached us right after the taping. Then, beso-beso -- Diego's really sweet with his fans -- and hello greetings. >.<

Well, we exited from the studio after the show. Then regrouped at Starbucks, as per message from Ms. Fran. True, we've missed seeing Diego. It's been awhile, plus at that time, his David Powers character has taken a break from the PSY remake already. >.<

Yey! Finally got that photo with Ms. Fran... thanks, Ms. Fran, for everything -- "alam mo na yun!" He he he... Diego has my full support in whatever project he will have in the near future. >.< 

Naturally, I wouldn't miss having that photo opp with Ms. Teresa Loyzaga. My daughter also loves her Gabriela character on PDA. I truly love both mom & son, Teresa & Diego, both really nice people. >.<

Yipee! Got my second photo with Diego! Happy me... just so glad he also loved my shirt. Had it customized via CoDeeS'. >.< Plus, I did get to chat with him briefly, told him about this blog, and that I'll always be for a DiegoLiza tandem, but will be supporting him all the way. >.< Thank you, Diegs, for being so nice and for ... "alam mo na yun!" I do wish you'll have many more projects and mall shows, so we could see more of you! >.<

This is the last part of the BTS photos during the taping. I'll have another post when we got our meet and greet with Diego, Ms. Teresa, and Ms. Fran after the taping. >.< 

It was a good game... could have been better... but not bad. Ha ha ha! Ms. Teresa & Diego got P 25.00 at the end of the game! >.< Oh well, it was quite an experience indeed! It was also my first time ever to experience watching KDOND live at the studio! >.<

More BTS Photos -- Teresa & Diego Loyzaga on Kapamilya Deal or No Deal (Part 2)

During the first round, two big amounts were opened -- 500,000 and 100,000. Teresa & Diego Loyzaga didn't agree to the deal so starts the next round. >.<

Miss Teresa talks about the various odd jobs she did back in Australia while raising her two children. You can see the look of love and pride on Diego's face as he listens to his mom. Aww, such a loving son indeed! >.< So after 4 more briefcases, the 1 million briefcase was unfortunately opened by Diego himself. Uh-oh! >.<

After 3 more briefcases, another big amount gets taken out -- 400,000. Tsk tsk. But at least, the 1 peso briefcase has been opened. >.<

After 2 more briefcases, there goes the 200,000. >.< It was a tension filled game. But I've got to admit, it became less challenging when the two large amounts were opened during the first two rounds of the game. >.<

BTS Photos -- Teresa & Diego Loyzaga on Kapamilya Deal or No Deal (Part 1)

So the date was the 23rd of September when members of the Digsters group agreed to meet up to attend the taping of Kapamilya Deal or No Deal featuring Teresa and Diego Loyzaga. I have to admit I had to make some arrangements to miss out on "work" that night. Good thing it's a light week load as the upcoming Friday was a "no classes" day due to Eid'l Adha. >.<

I got to the meeting place early -- around 3 p.m. -- taping was initially at 4 p.m. However, it was moved to 6 p.m. So we had to wait longer at McDonald's ABS-CBN. We waited till we were allowed into the studio at around 7 p.m. >.<

There was another episode taping before Ms. Teresa and Diego arrived on the set. We got to watch John "Sweet" Lapus' episode. It was a really good one though, as Sweet actually got the 1 million briefcase but agreed to the deal of Php 444,000.00. It wasn't a complete loss. >.<

We were then asked to switch seats as we waited for the final taping for that night. 

Prior to the taping, Ms. Teresa and Diego were given instructions and guidance on what would transpire once the camera starts rolling. >.<

I gotta hand it to Luis Manzano for being a good host. Aside from the opening spiel where he gets to read some notes, the show was actually free flowing. So yes, Luis does a good job of asking questions and probing for interesting answers. >.< 

Lights, camera, action.......

Manzano starts the show.. welcomes the Lucky Stars.. and the Mother & Son tandem of Teresa & Diego Loyzaga! >.< 

Diego, explaining why they chose Number 13... and opening the first round of briefcases (5 briefcases). At the end of the round, here's the money board! >.<
