HAPPY ANNIVERSARY & CONGRATULATIONS!

I can't believe how time flies! Yes, it's been a year since this blog was started. Except for this month -- I've been really busy with other obligations -- I've mostly kept it updated daily! Yebah! So in a way, I'd like to congratulate myself for that. Tee hee hee... I've managed to achieve my 365-day blog challenge.

It's also a good time to look back at Diego Loyzaga's year. Well, he and Liza Soberano are the main reasons why this blog was started in the first place. DiegoLiza / JayNes / DLizters ... whatever we happened to call them... how I wished they could be reunited on a project. #wishfulthinking

Then, there came the cameo role as Joshua on 'The BreakUp Playlist.' Incidentally, it was my first time ever to meet Diegs in person... during the mall show promotion of TBUP at the Lucky Chinatown Mall. >.<

He also went on to star as David Powers on the remake of 'Pangako Sa 'Yo.' Wow! A teleserye again after the first one as Jay. Ain't that cool? 

Diegs also starred on two MMK episodes within the year. I'll feature the most recent one on a separate post. It was a blessed year for Diegs as he was MYX VJ at the start of the year,  had a billboard for Bench, appeared on a Sprite TVC, had two guestings on KDOND. He's also seen on ASAP more often than before. My two wishes for Diegs... his own recording album... and a main lead role on a teleserye. #dreamcometrue I hope both will be made possible as another year starts anew. >.<

Although I've only seen Diegs five times over the course of the year, each time was such a great time, so you could say I still can't get enough of this young man. He he he... >.< I hope I can join up with the Digsters more often next time around. 

Since I've accomplished my 365-day blogging goal, it's time to take a bit of a rest and continue with updates only once a week at the very least. I will surely keep posting more about Diego and Liza when there are new updates on them. Until next time folks...

Throwback Thursday: From My Tumblr Archive 31

Alas, this update is a bit long overdue. Diego Loyzaga as David Powers... his first appearance on the remake of Pangako Sa 'Yo created quite a stir. Of course, at the onset, we didn't know his real identity. We just knew he was close to the Governor, played by Ian Veneracion. >.< I was happy that Diegs got to be part of the PSY remake, although I'm a true blue Jericho Rosales fan, and for me, there's only one Angelo Buenavista. >.< But then, Diegs got to work with Jodi Sta. Maria and Ian Veneracion closely... both really good actors so I'm glad for this experience. I'm sure Diegs will continue to be really good in his craft. Can't wait till he gets launched on a main lead role... #dreamcometrue

Flashback Friday: David's Real Identity Revealed

On this flashback Friday, let me feature one of my favorite scenes on the Pangako Sa 'Yo remake... the time when David's real identity was finally revealed. I loved the Eduardo - David confrontation scenes! I thought that was challenging for Diego Loyzaga as well. I also believe he did really well on those scenes. >.< 

So glad that Diegs became part of the remake of the classic PSY soap. I'm sure he learned lots from the veteran actors that he got to work with. Yey! I'm excited to watch him on more upcoming projects... I hope this time around he could be one of the main leads! #dreamcometrue #makeithappen

Flashback Friday: Dinner Date with David

How fast time flies! I thought it was just yesterday, instead of a week ago. Time for another flashback Friday edition! As the PSY remake is over, it does make me wonder what Diego Loyzaga's next project will be. For the meantime, it's pretty good to look back at some of the highlights of his David Powers role. How come Diegs gets all the decent, good guy third wheel roles??? How I wished he'd be one of the main leads soon. #dreamcometrue #makeithappen

I also hope he'll also have a movie soon! Can't wait...

Diego Loyzaga Article on Abante Online

Sent my condolences via Digsters to the Loyzaga family. It truly is sad when we lose a loved one. They may be gone, but if we keep the lessons we learned from them, they linger in our hearts. My condolences once more to you and your family, Diegs! >.< 

We missed David Powers when he was killed off in the PSY remake. But now that the show's over, I'm just looking forward to Diego's next project. I hope it happens very, very soon too! >.<

Diego Loyzaga on Kapamilya Live Chat

Yebah! So glad that Diego Loyzaga's appearance on Kapamilya Live Chat is uploaded on YT. >.< Poor Diegs though.. he had to do consequences a few times after losing out to Dominic Roque.. he-he-he >.< Love the parts when Diegs got to play his guitar and sang some songs. Wished he still remembered the M.A.C.Y. song though.. he should have recorded and released that song from back then... <sigh> 

Keep calm and carry on... while waiting for Diegs' upcoming project! >.<

David Powers, you will be greatly missed on the PSY remake! >.< Diego Loyzaga's character finally bowed out last week, as the show nears its finale. I just wish that there will be justice for David's death. Madam Claudia really has gone bad!!! >.< 

Great job, Diegs! Really enjoyed watching you and your character, David Powers. I'm praying that you'll get more projects, esp. main lead ones! You truly deserve it too! See you on your next project... >.<

Flashback Friday: Claudia Kills David

Yaiks! And Diego Loyzaga's David Powers character gets killed off on the PSY Remake. Guess that answered my question on how long he's gonna still be on the show. >.< I'm hoping though that Diegs is moving on to a new project that's why his character needed to be gone. Plus, it did make the story move forward! I suppose the show's ending in two weeks. Tsk! I hate to say this, but I'm seeing another "rushed" ending here... so typical of ABS teleseryes, unfortunately! >.<

Much as I hate how David was eliminated from the PSY remake, I'd like to commend Diegs for his great performance on the show! He deserves a main lead project, IMHO. I hope the next one will be bigger and better too! >.< #mainleadprojectpls #dreamcometrue #makeithappen

I'm thankful for the nice exposure that Diegs is getting on the PSY remake. But honestly, I'm wishing he could be so much more than just the 'Pambansang Third Wheel.' He's better looking than most other leading men today! >.<

Loved his Jay character on the 'series that was' as it also highlighted his musicality. I hope his next project would explore that side of him too! He's one young artist who deserves to record his own album! >.<

Till next update... can't believe a week has passed since the Digsters post-Christmas party. Here I'm missing Diegs already... tee hee hee >.<
