Diego Loyzaga Birthday Celebration at Gentle Hands

This is a long overdue update. I joined the Digsters, Diego Loyzaga's official fans club, last 22nd May 2016, to give Diegs a surprise birthday party with the children at Gentle Hands orphanage. >.< Due to some restrictions, I only took behind the scene photos that didn't include any of the children in the said institution. So here we are as we were preparing for the event.

Some Digsters members, together with Ms Fran and Kristine, also joined in on the game for adults. LOL! I'm a bit of a KJ... so I just sat this one out. Hey, I like being on the side...

While watching some children perform their numbers... >.< I truly feel for the children at the orphanage, but they're better off at Gentle Hands than out on the streets. I'm thankful for this immersion as well as I get to see and experience stuff I don't usually see every day. I also get to share with other children and help them realize how lucky they truly are! >.<

Diego Loyzaga ASAP Production Number -- May 15, 2016

There we were at the audience entrance, the Digsters, while waiting last Sunday for Diego Loyzaga's production number on ASAP. You see, we got bumped off ASAP Chillout. Too bad 'coz Diegs was also having his birthday celebration that time. It turned out that fellow artist Darren Espanto was also celebrating his brithday, and his fans filled the venue. Boo-hoo for us! >.<

Seriously, the wait was a lot longer than it took Diego to perform on stage with his fellow artists. <SIGH> The life of a fan indeed! 

When we finally got in, the host behind the scene was telling everyone not to take photos! Are you kidding me? Like D-UH?! I was only there for Diegs' production number... naturally I would want to take photos! Besides, I've waited from the beginning till the sixth gap to get in?!?! 

It truly was a feat balancing myself, my camera, while holding Diego's banner up! LOL! >.< Pardon the kinda blurry photos. If you've followed me since last year, you'll know I have that curse ha-ha-ha! >.<

It was great seeing Diegs sing live on ASAP. But the whole production probably didn't even last five minutes. Boo-hoo-hoo! Our consolation was that we got to meet Diegs after the show... right outside of the PBB House. He got off the SUV he was driving to have some bonding time with his fans!!! How amazing is that guy huh?! He's simply unbelievable! >.<

WE LOVE YOU, DIEGO!!! >.<

Dressed for casual or slightly formal, I believe Diego Loyzaga carries it well! So good to see him endorse Bench clothing. I hope that he will be joining the Bench Fashion Show later this year. >.<

Flashback Friday: A Look Back on My Digsters Journey

Flashback Friday time! It won't be till a week from now, but this was from almost a year ago. Remember when Diego Loyzaga posted this on his Twitter account? I really thought his Jay F. character then was saying good-bye for good! I felt so devastated that I even posted my thoughts on it on my Tumblr site. That's my original fan site that still exists today. And that was way before this blog was even put up. >.< (Read the original article here.)

It later on turned out to be nothing more than an April Fool's Day prank from Diegs himself!!! Arrgghhh! And I fell for it... hook, line, and sinker. So I posted a follow up blog about it too! Ha ha ha! >.< (Read the original article here.)

Diegs must have read about my post. I'm not sure. I really never asked! But a few days after that April Fool's Day, I was surprised when I got a notification one wee hour of the morning that Diegs followed me on Twitter! Yeah, I didn't think much about it right away, thinking it was just another fan page account or the like. But when I indeed checked, it was truly THE Diego Loyzaga himself who followed me on Twitter. Right then and there, I decided to become part of his Digsters family. And the rest, as they say, is history... >.<

Ahh so good to look back and have such fond memories indeed! >.<

We Love You Diego!

As a Digsters member and a solid Diego Loyzaga fan, I could only imagine what Diegs is going through right now.. must be tough being a celebrity and growing up under the limelight. Controversies surrounding celebrities aren't new, but while some news are negligible, the issue involving Diegs right now isn't to be taken lightly. I pray that authorities get to the bottom of the real matter. Based on how I knew Diegs, it's not likely that he would do what the press claimed he did. Of course, I wasn't there when the incident happened, but I do think there's a lot of hyped up stories to it. May the truth prevail in time! >.<

Diego's friends have also tweeted support for him on the matter. >.<

I pray that Diego Loyzaga will not be misjudged by the general public who have no idea about the whole incident. Diegs is truly such a fine and sensible young man. He's just not the type who would get into trouble out of the blue. >.<

Diegs, you're a great guy! Know that I'll be behind you all the way! We love you, Diego! <3 <3 <3

My bad that I almost missed it when Diego Loyzaga held his #AskDiegoLoyzaga party on Twitter last night! Well, I actually only caught the last parts... so here are some of the nice questions as well as answers from Diegs... and my thoughts on them... >.<

 

I love it that Jay Fernandez is also his favorite role by far. He's the reason I'm hooked on Diegs. LOL! Actually, when you get to meet him in person, you'll see that he's not that far from Jay's persona. >.<

I couldn't help not adding the *hearts* on the above screencap. My DiegoLiza heart flutters! How I wish that Diegs and Liza Soberano would soon get to work together again... as a tandem! >.<

Diego Loyzaga sings 'Hinahanap-hanap Kita' at the Digsters post-Christmas party. So happy to finally hear and see Diegs sing live up close and personal! How awesome is that huh?! >.< IMHO, Diegs has such a good singing voice. He deserves to be given a chance to launch his own recording album! I hope that happens soon too! >.< Perhaps his artist agency could start by making him sing teleserye theme songs... or make him a part of song-writing contests like Himig Handog or the like... if I could only write songs, I'd make one for him! >.<
