HAPPY ANNIVERSARY & CONGRATULATIONS!

Happy Anniversary | Hey Reader, Happy Birthday To You :)

I can't believe how time flies! Yes, it's been a year since this blog was started. Except for this month -- I've been really busy with other obligations -- I've mostly kept it updated daily! Yebah! So in a way, I'd like to congratulate myself for that. Tee hee hee... I've managed to achieve my 365-day blog challenge.

It's also a good time to look back at Diego Loyzaga's year. Well, he and Liza Soberano are the main reasons why this blog was started in the first place. DiegoLiza / JayNes / DLizters ... whatever we happened to call them... how I wished they could be reunited on a project. #wishfulthinking

Then, there came the cameo role as Joshua on 'The BreakUp Playlist.' Incidentally, it was my first time ever to meet Diegs in person... during the mall show promotion of TBUP at the Lucky Chinatown Mall. >.<

He also went on to star as David Powers on the remake of 'Pangako Sa 'Yo.' Wow! A teleserye again after the first one as Jay. Ain't that cool?

Diegs also starred on two MMK episodes within the year. I'll feature the most recent one on a separate post. It was a blessed year for Diegs as he was MYX VJ at the start of the year,  had a billboard for Bench, appeared on a Sprite TVC, had two guestings on KDOND. He's also seen on ASAP more often than before. My two wishes for Diegs... his own recording album... and a main lead role on a teleserye. #dreamcometrue I hope both will be made possible as another year starts anew. >.<

Although I've only seen Diegs five times over the course of the year, each time was such a great time, so you could say I still can't get enough of this young man. He he he... >.< I hope I can join up with the Digsters more often next time around.

Since I've accomplished my 365-day blogging goal, it's time to take a bit of a rest and continue with updates only once a week at the very least. I will surely keep posting more about Diego and Liza when there are new updates on them. Until next time folks...

Good vibes & positive thoughts! ^_^

Flashback Friday: Diego Loyzaga & Maris Racal Cover 'Paano Ba ang Magmahal?'

Flashback Friday time once again... Credit to Ms. Fran for the above bts video of Diego Loyzaga and Maris Racal doing recording for the song 'Paano Ba ang Magmahal' for "The BreakUp Playlist" movie. >.< How I wished their version was also released as part of the TBUP soundtrack. <sighs> Oh well! I do enjoy their version of the song...

I sure hope that Diego would also get to star on more movies... it would be great to see him be a part of a really good, iconic movie! >.< #dreamcometrue #makeithappen

Happy weekend to all! 14 days to go before Christmas...

Good vibes & positive thoughts! ^_^

Not So Throwback Thursday: Diego Loyzaga as Joshua on 'The BreakUp Playlist'

Credits to scaps maker Andy Tea for the HD screenshots featured today. It has just been a month since "The BreakUp Playlist" opened in local cinemas. Within a week of showing, the movie has reached the Php100M mark... complete with poster and official announcement from the ABS Promo Dept. >.< Congratulations to all the cast and production staff of TBUP! It was truly a privilege that Diego Loyzaga was part of the movie. He played the role of Joshua, a teen heartthrob who would be having a reunion concert with his old flame Janine, played by Maris Racal.

How we wished that Star Cinema would also release an official Diego Loyzaga-Maris Racal version of "Paano Ba ang Magmahal?" Here's a sample of their version... (cto)

More... more... more projects for Diego Loyzaga please! >.<

Good vibes & positive thoughts! ^_^

Way Back Wednesday: Diego Loyzaga Loves His Bashers

As featured on PEP.PH, Diego Loyzaga said that he loves his bashers. Let's face it, in this day and age of the social media, public personalities are truly prone to being bashed, sometimes more harshly than they deserve. But even negative comments could be channeled in a positive way. In Diego's case, he claims that it truly helps him improve in his craft. I actually commend Diego for such a positive attitude. One cannot totally control others' opinions, but one can always choose how he/she would react to them. >.<

Some scenes from "The BreakUp Playlist"

It's funny how the Gino & Trixie story somehow reminded me of Jay & Agnes on the series that was. Only this time around, the guy got the girl. I am truly happy that Diego got to be a part of "The BreakUp Playlist." It's not every day that young artists would get to work closely with Sarah G. and Piolo Pascual. >.< It's rightfully deserved too as Diego and Maris could both sing well. I sure hope ABS Mgt. would somehow also release a version of "Paano Ba ang Magmahal?" sung by Diego Loyzaga and Maris Racal. >.<

Plus, Diego fans from all over are absolutely delighted that we get to watch Diego almost nightly on prime time TV as David on the remake of "Pangako Sa 'Yo." It's such a blessing indeed! >.< We hope that a main lead project is in the works for Diego soon!

Good vibes & positive thoughts! And many more blessings to come... Inshallah! ^_^

Take Me Back Tuesday: Diego Loyzaga Attended 'The BreakUp Playlist' Premiere Night

Although Diego Loyzaga only had a cameo role in the movie 'The BreakUp Playlist' top-billed by Sarah Geronimo and Piolo Pascual, I was so happy that he was able to attend the premiere night at the SM Megamall last June 30th. Diego walked the red carpet with his movie leading lady, Maris Racal, who was a runner-up in the PBB (Pinoy Big Brother) All In reality TV show. >.<

Diego took a selfie with Piolo's son, Inigo Pascual

Below, Diego and Maris shared what it was like working with Sarah G and Piolo on the movie. >.< I am totally ecstatic that Diego got that chance of working with two of the country's biggest stars in the showbiz industry today! We're sure that Diego and Maris both learned a lot from their experiences! >.<

May Diego have more movie projects from hereon. I am still hoping and praying for a DiegoLiza tandem project! >.< #everythingispossible #whentherighttimecomes #makeithappen #dreamcometrue

Motivation Monday: Meeting Diego Loyzaga

I haven't imagined for the life of me that I would be fangirling over a teen star at my age! >.< So when did it all start? It started back in February of the current year, when Jay Fernandez made his first appearance on the series that was. There I was being a fangirl all over again. A month down the line (around March), I couldn't help but blog about it...

At that time, I thought I was all alone. Until one day, I chanced upon a group of conversations on Twitter from similar or like-minded individuals as myself. So I started stalking them. Well, I'd read through most of their daily conversations and found myself amused. When the series that was had situations going against our fave character Jay, I thought I'd butt into the conversations and share my piece of mind. I was both surprised and glad that I was somehow accepted into the group. That time, they called themselves Team Hopia. >.< Guess we were all hoping that Jay would somehow get the girl... we were wrong, much to our chagrin.

Before the series that was ended, I decided to give Diego Loyzaga's character Jay a tribute in the form of a scrapbook. Getting inputs from the group, I put together the scrapbook that I've sent through Digsters (Diego's official fan group of which I am also members) for Diego's birthday. >.< I've then put together this blog site to feature more of my two faves -- Diego Loyzaga and Liza Soberano. I'm still wishing that a DiegoLiza tandem project will be possible some time in the future. #wishfulthinking #everythingispossible #whentherighttimecomes #makeithappen #dreamcometrue

But what has that got to do with meeting Diego Loyzaga? Well, it's been a month since I put up this site, and I'm happy to say that I finally -- for the first time ever -- met Diego Loyzaga in person during the 'The Breakup Playlist Mall Tour' last Saturday, June 27th.

Diego wasn't able to make it to the SM Manila part of the Tour, but he did go to the Lucky Chinatown Mall. I was glad we were headed that way too, and that the whole waiting game was truly worth it! Of course, I have Ms. Fran to thank for it. >.<

How do I find Diego Loyzaga? Well, we all go gaga over him on TV and the HD scaps that we share around Twitter and Instagram. But I'd say, he's so much more (double superlatives... yes I'm aware of it!) better looking in person than on print or TV! If you haven't seen him yet, YOU SHOULD! You're truly missing a lot if not. >.<

How was he? I was surprised that he's very friendly and approachable. He immediately made "beso-beso" when Ms. Fran introduced me. When he learned that I put together the scrapbook and also this blog, he even gave me a hug. Aw! How sweet of him indeed! >.< For that one moment, I felt what it was like to be Agnes! Ha ha ha... He was truly thankful and appreciative. After the encounter, I honestly got to love him even more. It does make me want to shout out, "I LOVE YOU DIEGO!" >.<

Pardon the blurred photos that I got! Life has a funny way of turning out whenever I take important shots. They usually end up blurred. Boo-hoo! >.< I'm not the best videographer as well, but here's my video from last Saturday's mall tour. It was rather far and crowded where I was positioned, and I'm not a pro when it comes to balancing my camera... please bear with me... >.<

meeting Ms. Teresa Loyzaga

Yey! Meeting Diego Loyzaga for the first time (many more to come I hope!)

It was a great day! The first of many I hope... Remember to watch 'The Breakup Playlist' showing July 1st on cinemas nationwide! >.<

Good vibes & positive thoughts! ^_^
