Diego Loyzaga for SceneZone Magazine Holiday 2016

I've been a Diego Loyzaga fan since he was first paired off with Liza Soberano on the TV soap opera, Forevermore. Even though his character Jay didn't win the girl, he certainly won my heart and I've been an avid fan ever since that time! This blog was put up for the iconic tandem of DiegoLiza. My heart beats for them to this day, but I digress.

Late last year, Diego was featured on the online magazine portal SceneZone (Link to his feature here.) I must say it was a dream come true for me to see him on the cover of a magazine! Finally!!! I do wish he will have more solo features in the near future...

So love all the photos that follow! Diego truly deserves to be main lead. I hope that's happening soon too!

Don't you just love the dreamy look on his eyes? *Thud.* LOL! ^_^

I so seriously would want a printed copy of all his photos on this magazine!!! I'm sure a lot of you would agree too!

My reaction upon seeing the feature on Diego Loyzaga

I hope that this is just the start of Diego's many features on popular magazines. Next time around, I'd want a physical copy. Inshallah! >.<

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY & CONGRATULATIONS!

Happy Anniversary | Hey Reader, Happy Birthday To You :)

I can't believe how time flies! Yes, it's been a year since this blog was started. Except for this month -- I've been really busy with other obligations -- I've mostly kept it updated daily! Yebah! So in a way, I'd like to congratulate myself for that. Tee hee hee... I've managed to achieve my 365-day blog challenge.

It's also a good time to look back at Diego Loyzaga's year. Well, he and Liza Soberano are the main reasons why this blog was started in the first place. DiegoLiza / JayNes / DLizters ... whatever we happened to call them... how I wished they could be reunited on a project. #wishfulthinking

Then, there came the cameo role as Joshua on 'The BreakUp Playlist.' Incidentally, it was my first time ever to meet Diegs in person... during the mall show promotion of TBUP at the Lucky Chinatown Mall. >.<

He also went on to star as David Powers on the remake of 'Pangako Sa 'Yo.' Wow! A teleserye again after the first one as Jay. Ain't that cool?

Diegs also starred on two MMK episodes within the year. I'll feature the most recent one on a separate post. It was a blessed year for Diegs as he was MYX VJ at the start of the year,  had a billboard for Bench, appeared on a Sprite TVC, had two guestings on KDOND. He's also seen on ASAP more often than before. My two wishes for Diegs... his own recording album... and a main lead role on a teleserye. #dreamcometrue I hope both will be made possible as another year starts anew. >.<

Although I've only seen Diegs five times over the course of the year, each time was such a great time, so you could say I still can't get enough of this young man. He he he... >.< I hope I can join up with the Digsters more often next time around.

Since I've accomplished my 365-day blogging goal, it's time to take a bit of a rest and continue with updates only once a week at the very least. I will surely keep posting more about Diego and Liza when there are new updates on them. Until next time folks...

Good vibes & positive thoughts! ^_^

Flashback Friday: Macy by Diego Loyzaga Acoustic Version

What a fitting tribute to flashback Friday than looking back at Diego Loyzaga's version of Macy. How I wished his single for this song was released way back then. I guess management was afraid he might overshadow the main lead for the show back then. Boo-Hoo! To this day, I pray that Diegs will someday release his own recording album. He's truly deserving! >.<

I do miss Diegs on primetime... miss his Jay Fernandez character... miss his musicality and the Time Machine Band performances. >.< I sure hope we get to watch him again soon!

Good vibes & positive thoughts! ^_^

Throwback Thursday: From My Tumblr Archive 31

Alas, this update is a bit long overdue. Diego Loyzaga as David Powers... his first appearance on the remake of Pangako Sa 'Yo created quite a stir. Of course, at the onset, we didn't know his real identity. We just knew he was close to the Governor, played by Ian Veneracion. >.< I was happy that Diegs got to be part of the PSY remake, although I'm a true blue Jericho Rosales fan, and for me, there's only one Angelo Buenavista. >.< But then, Diegs got to work with Jodi Sta. Maria and Ian Veneracion closely... both really good actors so I'm glad for this experience. I'm sure Diegs will continue to be really good in his craft. Can't wait till he gets launched on a main lead role... #dreamcometrue

Diego Loyzaga Birthday Celebration at Gentle Hands

This is a long overdue update. I joined the Digsters, Diego Loyzaga's official fans club, last 22nd May 2016, to give Diegs a surprise birthday party with the children at Gentle Hands orphanage. >.< Due to some restrictions, I only took behind the scene photos that didn't include any of the children in the said institution. So here we are as we were preparing for the event.

Some Digsters members, together with Ms Fran and Kristine, also joined in on the game for adults. LOL! I'm a bit of a KJ... so I just sat this one out. Hey, I like being on the side...

While watching some children perform their numbers... >.< I truly feel for the children at the orphanage, but they're better off at Gentle Hands than out on the streets. I'm thankful for this immersion as well as I get to see and experience stuff I don't usually see every day. I also get to share with other children and help them realize how lucky they truly are! >.<

Till next brithday celebration, Diegs...

Good vibes & positive thoughts! ^_^

Diego Loyzaga on MMK -- May 21, 2016

Thank you @Gin_dtj for all the lovely screencaps of Diego Loyzaga's MMK guesting. It was indeed a heart-wrenching story that I'm sure made a lot of folks cry. >.< Wow! Diegs has indeed leveled up in his performance... esp. during the dramatic scenes. I truly love it that he gets to work with some of the best artists in the industry. I'm sure Diegs is enjoying it as well. >.< I can't wait to watch Diegs on a main lead role. I'm sure he truly deserves it.

More projects for Diego Loyzaga please!!! >.<

Good vibes & positive thoughts! ^_^

Diego Loyzaga Article as Featured on Star Cinema Site

Yes, Diego, you are now 21. I hope you'll take good care of yourself. What a fine, young man indeed! >.< 2015 was a good year for Diegs. I hope that we'll see more of him this year as well. I can't wait till he stars on a main lead role. Plus, I'm a bit excited to see him again on the big screen. I heard that the movie has a September playdate. Let's wait and see.......

I will be featuring his second MMK guesting on my next post.

Good vibes & positive thoughts! ^_^
