What a fitting tribute to flashback Friday than looking back at Diego Loyzaga's version of Macy. How I wished his single for this song was released way back then. I guess management was afraid he might overshadow the main lead for the show back then. Boo-Hoo! To this day, I pray that Diegs will someday release his own recording album. He's truly deserving! >.< 

I do miss Diegs on primetime... miss his Jay Fernandez character... miss his musicality and the Time Machine Band performances. >.< I sure hope we get to watch him again soon!

Flashback Friday: Bringing Back DiegoLiza FanArts

What fitting tribute to a year-old blog than to bring back some of my most favorite fanarts of DiegoLiza. >.< They may have been more popular as JayNes as they co-starred on 'Forevermore,' but to me, it doesn't matter what they're called. Diego Loyzaga and Liza Soberano will always be DiegoLiza to me... and I'd still like to call myself a DLizters, more than just Digsters (Diego's Official Fan Club). >.<

It may take time -- or even a miracle -- before Diegs & Liza even star together again, so I suppose my DLizters heart will be on snooze mode for a while. They still remain, for me, my most favorite OTP. >.<

Perfect for flashback Friday! A collage of JayNes hugs... awwww! >.< It has been a year... but to this day, my heart beats for my DiegoLiza OTP. I suppose there are things that don't just go away he-he-he. For me, this is one of them.

When I look back to the 'series that was' I will remember Jay and Agnes, and the friendship that they had. #BFFgoals Too bad Jay didn't win the girl, huh? He would have in real life though. Ha-ha! >.<

Anyway, I will have some newer updates in the next few days as I got to meet Diegs for the fourth time! Weeeee...

Diego Loyzaga, with a guitar, singing live... *thud* I watched the video again.. the effect on me is the same.. <SIGH> The DiegoLiza tandem had so much potential... too bad it wasn't totally explored... oh well! >.< I will always be a DLizters at heart! Yes, I coined that term myself too! >.<

Alas, I'd love to watch more of Diego. I guess in the next few projects, I would have to contend with his new tandem. That's life! But I know that Diegs knows I will always be a DiegoLiza fan. That's enough for me! >.<

That second awkward scene from 'the series that was.' Tsk! Such is the influence of media to even teach youngsters to sort of defy their parent's advice. Ha-ha! Well, Nay Marites liked Jay and kinda approved of him. But I suppose that wasn't important as what's important is for the LT to end up together no matter what! Boo-hoo! How I wish local teleserye could be more well-written. How about planning the whole series before even shooting and showing? Instead, most TV shows find themselves pressed for time in shooting every episode. I certainly don't understand this fascination over TV ratings over providing good quality entertainment. >.<

Well, it's good to look back once in awhile. So far, this whole blog has become a trip down memory lane... for lack of current news on Diego Loyzaga. I hope he's doing great! I still wonder why he went on Twitter hiatus, huh? >.<

When the series that was featured less of Diego and his character Jay, I lost a bit of interest in watching. I loved Jay and JayNes moments. How I wish that Diego and Liza will get to work together again in the future. #wishfulthinking

It's another flashback Friday! Can't get enough naturally of my fave scene. This continues on from yesterday's post. This scene tops the chart for the giddiness factor of the DiegoLiza tandem. Oh my JayNes heart! It's too bad that Diego Loyzaga was just the third wheel to Liza Soberano's tandem with another actor. My OTP ship sank even before it sailed. Boo-Hoo! >.<

I've never shipped LTs (love teams) anymore, since I've seen more ships that sank when the lead actors parted ways in real life. However, I made an exception for the DiegoLiza tandem. I guess at the moment it will just be a dream. #wishfulthinking >.<

Flashback Friday: From My Tumblr Archive Series 3

Alas, Jay's story goes from bad to worse here. He was forced out of the apartment he was renting. He needed to live with his relatives instead. As in most drama shows, he wasn't treated well. It's kinda like a male Cinderella story. You get my point I hope. Anyway...

Weeeee... this was the scene from the hanging trailer at the end of the episode... the second time we saw Diego Loyzaga shirtless on the show! WOOH! LOL! >.< 

All righty, that's it for now. Here, Jay was excited to go back to school to see Agnes. Right around that time, Liza Soberano was confined to a hospital due to overfatigue, so she wasn't able to shoot some scenes. None of those anticipated Jay-Agnes moments that I truly loved! >.<

Diego Loyzaga as Jay Fernandez... on flashback Friday! >.< I suddenly felt the need to reminisce on Diegs' Jay character on the 'series that was.' I totally remember the first time ever that I met Diegs in person. It was pretty strange how his real persona reminded me so much of his character Jay! >.< Yup, he has that happy and cheerful disposition and he's such a darling! One simply can't help but really, really like him! So, I definitely won't believe such stories of his starting some fight somewhere. Tsk! No, no, no, that's just not the Diegs I knew. >.<

Hang on, Diegs, Digsters family and Team DiegoLiza are behind you all the way! We're all praying that all will be well soon! >.<

Flashback Friday: David's Real Identity Revealed

On this flashback Friday, let me feature one of my favorite scenes on the Pangako Sa 'Yo remake... the time when David's real identity was finally revealed. I loved the Eduardo - David confrontation scenes! I thought that was challenging for Diego Loyzaga as well. I also believe he did really well on those scenes. >.< 

So glad that Diegs became part of the remake of the classic PSY soap. I'm sure he learned lots from the veteran actors that he got to work with. Yey! I'm excited to watch him on more upcoming projects... I hope this time around he could be one of the main leads! #dreamcometrue #makeithappen

I totally just felt like reliving that moment when Agnes was saved by Jay. Alas, my JayNes / DiegoLiza heart still skips a beat when I watch reruns of the series that was featuring my dream OTP. Too bad my ship never sailed. Boo-hoo for me! >.< But I'm okay. I've moved on from the past. It feels good to look back and recall beautiful memories of those days. >.< You gotta admit that Diego Loyzaga was awesome as "Batman" Jay Fernandez. He truly was M.A.C.Y.'s knight in shining armor. Too bad he was just the third wheel! >.<

My DiegoLiza heart misses the two working together. It was, however, a truly memorable TV pairing. I know that sooner or later, I will need to move on from this OTP... but not now, not when I'm feeling nostalgic. >.< Maybe someday...

Flashback Friday: Claudia Kills David

Yaiks! And Diego Loyzaga's David Powers character gets killed off on the PSY Remake. Guess that answered my question on how long he's gonna still be on the show. >.< I'm hoping though that Diegs is moving on to a new project that's why his character needed to be gone. Plus, it did make the story move forward! I suppose the show's ending in two weeks. Tsk! I hate to say this, but I'm seeing another "rushed" ending here... so typical of ABS teleseryes, unfortunately! >.<

Much as I hate how David was eliminated from the PSY remake, I'd like to commend Diegs for his great performance on the show! He deserves a main lead project, IMHO. I hope the next one will be bigger and better too! >.< #mainleadprojectpls #dreamcometrue #makeithappen

Flashback Friday: David Powers vs. Angelo Buenavista

It's time for flashback Friday once more! Do you remember this scene from last year? David Powers is one interesting character that Diego Loyzaga has played. Loved the confrontation scenes with Daniel Padilla who plays Angelo Buenavista. It's truly good to see the two friends working closely again. This time around though I believe Diegs looks way better than DJP. LOL! But that's just me, I guess. You can say that I'm biased 'coz I'm a Digsters at heart. Tee-hee! Nonetheless, I wish that Diego will soon get a chance to be launched as one of the main leads on his own show. It's no fun being the "Pambansang Third Wheel." >.< To be honest, at times, Diegs looks way better than the main lead. Ha ha ha! Like on the "series that was!" >.< Nuff said...

I'm really glad that Diegs got to work with really good actors on Pangako Sa 'Yo. I do believe this will help him a lot in his future projects. I totally love his scenes with onscreen mom, Jodi Sta. Maria. She's truly one fine actress to boot! >.< Should PSY writers decide to do away with David's character, I sure hope it won't take long before Diegs moves on to his next project! >.<
